The China Commercial Steamship Company, Limitad, is a Company registered under the "Companies' Ordinance of 1865" of Hongkong,
and having its registered office at Hongkong.
The Company is a shipping company, doing the business of a common carrier between HongKong and the Republic of Mexico. Formerly the route of its voyages was Hong Kong, Moji, Kobe and/or Yokohama, San Francisco and Manzanillo (Mexico); this was changed
afterwards, with the full cognizance and approval of the Mexican Government, to that of Hongkong, Moji and Salina Cruz (Mexico), for
the reason that the last named port, being the terminus of the
Tehuantepec Railway, offered better loading and unloading facilities
and better rail connections than Manzanillo.
